Adventure!

A year ago (actually probably for the last 2 years), I’ve griped about wanting to go hiking and blah blah Let’s Go Camping! It never happened. I can’t remember why, and it doesn’t really matter now. I’ve always been for the most part, happy to spend my days infront of my computer/tv/xbox/whatever.

Now that I have Emma, that’s really not an option. I try to get her out to the dog parks every other night, regardless of my hatred of cold weather. We usually have had training every Saturday, but now I’m supplementing that for Hiking Trips when possible. Last weekend, we just did an extended walk. But, tomorrow we are going on a hiking trip with 2 other Corgi Friends and their Owners.

This is the beauty of being a dog owner.

I’ve never done a hike like this. Part of me wants to buy Skyrim and call it a day. BUT, I’m happy to see my dog happy. If that means, we go on some ridiculous hike that takes all day, as long as I look down to see her derpy face - I’m okay. Also, let’s not kid ourselves - it buys me time to do laundry Sunday evenings.

love Emma’s blog because Emma is...doing something - playing, hiking, getting muddy,...
