So, Tesla’s been my test subject for my photography project. xD; Unfortunately I cannot use any of these pictures because we’re not allowed to take photo’s of pets for the actual project. But she’s been helpful to get in some movement practice. Unfortunately, the lights just aren’t good enough for the quick shutter speed needed. D: I also forgot that the camera was set to the highest ISO. But I’m still learning, and it’s an old camera. x.x; I did try though! So enjoy, a few derpy photo’s of Tesla.
Also, any help on capturing moving subjects would be helpful. We can’t use flash either, so there’s another problem I’m having. What kind of settings does everyone use to capture photo’s of their quick-to-run-away-pups?
My camera is older but I open up my ISO to 1600 (I think your t3i does like 3200?) and I go for the fastest speed possible. When I’m shooting my brother’s soccer games I try for 3200/4000. But, with Emma if I throw on my 50mm and have some patience I can usually get a good shot at a lower speed.
